vitex?

Question

Yay or nay? I'm trying to find something that would be worth trying to help with irregular cycles and ovulation? I'm trying not to go back on birth control as hubby and I are TTC. :(

I definitely recommend vitex but I recommend instead of 500mg a day to take 1000mg a day. I started at 500 and it did nothing. I read about people taking 1000 so I did the same and bam a few days later AF showed up. I never thought I would be so happy to have it. But now I am having issues ovulating. Just cause your periods are regular doesn't mean your ovulating. So I recommend investing in allot of opks. Baby dust to you.

We we're trying for about 8 months. I'm 254lbs and 5'7". The one month I took Vitex (one pill twice a day) is when I got my BFP. I'm not sure if it was because I took it, but I can't say it wasn't since here I am at 5 and a half weeks. I stopped taking it after the BFP though. Doc said no herbal meds when pregnant.
