Women Settling

Ok so in every article I read, writers considered "settling" as dating someone less attractive. This seems like a very immature mentality. Am I the only woman/person that looks for qualities such as fidelity, honesty, financial stability, intelligence, qualities that make a good husband, qualities that make a good father, ability to lead a family, similar goals, moral, and standards. Someone who has qualities to stick it out through hard times. Someone who treats me well and chases me. Adores and cherishes me like I deserve. Loves me unconditionally. A man who values a monogamous relationship and is willing to put in work to make it last if need be.

A lot of men are not marriage material and have no business getting married. Who marries someone based primarily on looks? That seems crazy and idiotic to me.

I guess I have different qualities that I look for in a man.... Attraction is good but you have to have ALOT more than that. There are a lot of rotten apples out there. Quality is more important. To me, settling is being in a dysfunctional relationship where you are not happy not being treated like you should.
