jealous sibling?

Anyone else dealing with a jealous sibling? My son was born on 2/21 and my daughter (2 1/2) was super excited to meet him and see him etc. Well we came home today and all of a sudden my daughter is acting out saying she doesn't like us and is mad at us. It's very upsetting as I always pictured it being different. And I know everyone says it's normal for them to feel jealous but I feel horrible about it. We are paying a lot of attention to her but she is still very upset 😭 anyone else dealing with something like this?

Yep. My daughter went through this. I'm actually in therapy right now because of postpartum anxiety with my first pregnancy (we wanted to head it off this time) so I asked my therapist about it. My daughter was acting really mad at her dad and, even though she still loved on her brother, she seemed angry at us.
My therapist said it's totally normal. She described it as, "push you away when I want to hold you tight". She said it's like she's trying to make sure we won't stop loving her even is she's grumpy. She said to show lots of extra affection and make a big deal about spending time with our daughter, huggjbf her extra and maybe doing something nice for her (we took her to a kids museum and said it was a treat because she'd been such a great help).
Sure enough, she stopped acting so mad and is back to being a Daddy's girl.

Yes were the exact same way. She turns 3 in May. She is super jealous and wants me to give her attention as if she is the baby. Like making us rock her to sleep. She hasn't done that in months and now wants me to be next to her all the time. I feel bad that I ignore her if I have to feed him or tend to him because he is crying
