Trying for #2, had PCOS &I am not sure if I ovulate!

So we've been trying for number 2 for 6 s cycles now, I had PCOS (and still have) before my first baby, I am having a regular cycle for the first time in my entire life.... super unusual. But I am unsure if I am ovulating.... I have taken opks but have been told by my specialist there is no point in taking them as they do not work for people with PCOS.

So my question is.... if you've had PCOS & tryied for number two how long did it take? And did you ever have any testing to see if you actual ovulate?
