Recently my boyfriend I have been talking about whether or not women wear makeup to look good for other people or to feel good about ourselves. Who do you wear makeup for?

I dont wear makeup anymore because a)im lazy as heck b) my skins really cleared up lately BUT when i did it was because my logic is always look good feel good so if i looked good id be in a better mood lol

Sometimes on the rare occasion I'll wear makeup to impress someone or to wow my guy... but even then it's still about myself, and boosting my own confidence and feeling fabulous lol

Both, truly. I'm embarrassed of my skin without bb cream. And all the freaking girls at my college think they are going to a run way show daily while I'm still stuck in 2008 loving my sweats and uggs with minimal make up 😂

Tbh I probably wear it for other people as I'm not going to put on a full face when I'm walking around my house all day, i only wear it when I go out into public.

I wear makeup to school and on really nice date nights (like going to a fancy restaurant). But at school I just wear very little makeup to hide my red face 😂 when we do nice date nights, I spend 2 hours on my makeup 😂

Myself, I usually only wear it to work and on the rare occasion me and my husband go out. The rest of the week I haven't been wearing any for the past month and it's so freeing lol. My husband doesn't care either way so why should I?

I'd say a little of both. I only wear makeup 0-3 times a week most of the time. When I do wear it, it's kind of to impress someone else but more than that it's to boost my confidence. Especially because I only really care that my boyfriend finds me attractive and he likes me better without makeup (apparently) so it's probably 60% for myself, 40% to impress others.
