Ovarian Cyst Removal Surgery
After a week of visiting various specialists I've been scheduled to have the 13cm ovarian cyst removed next week. I'll be 14 weeks 5 days at that time. The doctor said the surgery will be laparoscopic, and I'll be left with 3 small scars in my abdomen. He says there is no more than a 10% chance of miscarriage from the surgery, but that we cannot leave the cyst and guarantee a healthy pregnancy. My question for y'all- has anyone else experienced this type of surgery while pregnant? How did it go? How was the healing process? How is your baby?
