HELP!
my breast milk looks blue. had to manually squeeze some.out in the bathroom at work cuz I'm so engorged. and it's pretty translucent with a bluish tint. what does this mean? is it normal?

Totally normal. Mine was green for a day because of the extra veggies I was using in my smoothies! Just like the flavor changes of your milk from what you eat so can the color. You can also have different colors/consistencies in each breast-one side has milk thicker or more bluish than the other depending on how baby nurses! Your milk changes many times during baby's first and second year based on babys nutritional needs!

That's called foremilk, it's very common especially if you're engorged!  I call it my skim milk and it gets a creamy and fattier tint the more I pump (hindmilk).  No need to worry 😀 this part of the milk serves the purpose of hydration.

Normal! That looks like the first bit of milk that quenches thirst- it gets thicker as you feed/pump. Breast milk is like a three course meal! It is a live product so changes how it looks dependent on baby's needs. Mine was really thick and yellow whenever my little one was ill. It's amazing stuff!

There's foremilk and hindmilk. What you have is normal. If the baby were to feed longer out comes the good fattier milk. But again you're normal!
