Am i a hypocrite?

Question

I tell my ex he needs to go to rehab because he has an addiction to the worst drugs out there. Dope/meth. His addiction signs are obvious, he's not the same person. But of course he's indenial. 
I on the other hand drink every once in a while. Maybe like 1-3 times a month occasionally. I can go without it. And i wanted to take a xanax tonight just to help me sleep. 
Am i hypocrite since those are drugs?

He has a very dangerous habit and it seems he's not controlling it and urs seems controlled and not a daily issue...there's definitely a huge difference between meth and alcohol

Depends on how you look it. I'm totally against drugs and a bit on drinking but I have good reason. The most I will ever do is take a melatonin to help me sleep and I rarely drink but I don't tell my siblings they need to go to rehab. I think you're fine and there's nothing wrong with that as long as you know you don't need that pill to sleep where as he thinks he needs that meth to wake up

Xanax is addictive as well but not as bad as meth. He does need to get help. I believe that your honestly fine as long as you don't take it alll the time. And you don't drink enough to even be considered an alcoholic so your good :) He needs help though. Just talk him through it an tell him you care. (I'm assuming you do)
