What did you do if your baby has/had a lip tie?

Just found out my 4 month old has a lip tie. She had every sign and it explains everything that's been going on with her! It's definitely effecting her, but she's gaining weight correctly at the moment. Did anyone get it fixed on their baby? I don't know what to do!

It's up to you if you want it clipped! Usually doctors won't clip a lip tie unless it affects eating. Lip ties are usually more cosmetic than anything but sometimes it gets in the way of little one being able to feed properly. They worry more about tongue ties. A tongue tie should definitely be clipped! Talk to your doctor!

I was told my daughter has it but ther won't "correct" it until she's older and has those adult teeth through

I didn't eat for the first 3 days of my life because my tongue was stuck to the bottom of my mouth and my mom took me to the doctor and they cut it right there in the office. Then I ate like a pig and got fat 😂 
If she's gaining weight right I wouldn't worry about it. It might cause her speech impediments when she's older and learning to talk.
