my tattoo is itchy- is that normal?

I got it on wednesday. What can I do to make it stop itching?

completely normal, try slapping it lighting but def refrain from itching!

Normal. It will peel too and it gets even itchier then. Aquaphor always worked best for me or a good unscented lotion.

Don't itch and put lotion/cream on it - one that your tattoo artist recommends. Aquacel works well!

I like A&D on it when healing.

It's normal but try not to itch it. Use water based lotion and you can pat on it to try and get rid of the itch feeling

Totally normal healing process. It sucks, don't scratch it though. Slap it, helps sometimes.

Normal. Did your artist give you any suggestions on moisturizers?  You may want to check what their preferred aftercare routine is.

It's healing, it's a bit like when a scab
Gets itchy! Bepanthem cream (meant for nappy rash) is quite soothing xx
