Medicaid..? Child Support..?

Ok so I have a few questions. I know this mightne different in every state or something but first of all, is it true that once the baby is born you will not continue to get Medicaid or foodstamps ect. Unless the father is on child support?

Also do they come after the father for child support no matter what? What if he isn't absent in the childs life? Or what if we all libe together as a family? He still has to be forced to pay child support?

What if I dont want to put him on child support? They take away the benefits then right? Its all confusing and dumb 🤷🏼‍♀️

I think in most states Medicaid goes away for the mother after your 6 week exam (don't hold me to it). For children they continue to have it as long as you keep up with your renewal. As far as food stamps, it's best if you put the father on the birth certificate so that you can get the benefits. It might not be much. Child support is only if you file for it, they won't do anything on their own.

If the government is using money to support the child, they will put the father on child support. Then the father is paying part of it at least, not just the government
