Should technology be left out of schools?

Studies have shown that when a child is using technology, like an iPad or smartphone, the brain is stimulated in the exact same way as someone who is high on cocaine.
In addition, high tech usage by kids and teens show increase in attention disorders, depression, anxiety, and psychotic behaviors.
Some of the smartest, richest people in the world went to tech-free schools growing up.
Should technology be left out of elementary and middle schools?
