At what age do you stop giving formula?? What do you give next?

When the baby is a year old. You switch to whole milk. The pediatrician should tell you what to do at the one year appt.

I'm actually in the process of getting my son to quit formula and go on vitamin D whole milk. At his 12 month visit the pediatrician told me to slowly get him off formula. For example my son drinks 6oz at a time. She said to do 4oz formula and 2oz whole milk for a week. Then the next week do half and half and the week after that 4oz whole and 2oz formula and then the week after that only whole milk.

At nine months we started switching out more milk less formula and all milk by 12 months but I'm breastfeeding this time agian

Our first was switched to whole milk at 12 months!

Doctor said to switch to cow milk at 1 year but my LO won't drink it so we're still on formula at 14 months and don't know when we are going to stop.
