If my test lines aren't as dark as the control lines, how many DPO could I possibly be? I thought I was already 14dpo but wouldn't the lines be as dark as the control line?

The darkness of the line means absolutely nothing. You are pregnant. Once you see your doctor and are given a dating ultrasound you'll know how far along you are.

I got my super faint line at 17dpo. It didn't get darker until around 20dop or so

I got my first line (faint) at 14dpo... way fainter tha yours. The color is irrelevant.
