Hi well for weeks since about 28 weeks pregnant (35 now) was having severe upper right quadrant pain, itching and pale looking stools but all my bloods kept coming back normal and my scan of gallbladder came back fine, so last Thursday had the worst attack in the upper right side again that my doctor sent me in which I was keen on as I thought yet again I'd be dismissed only this time my bile acids was at 129 so very high I was immediately put on urso and vitamin and told induction likely around 37 weeks .. well since then both new tests of bile acids are well back in range one at 10 and the other at 8 .. so shocking as I'm still itching a lot and stools are still pale. I'm having a liver scan today not that I know what they do that for .. then Incan go home as I have a growth scan and consultant appointment Friday already midwife said they should still induce me as I've suffered enough and even though bile acids went back down doesn't mean they'll stay down etc just praying my consultant agrees on Friday because I'm so done with the stress and pain plus research into obstetric cholestasis isn't that great so they don't always know effects on baby hence why inducing! Has anyone been through this too. And had major high bile acid then low again? ... thanks for reading if u did :-)
