While I don't think it's gone too far because I believe everyone has the right to be open and comfortable with their true selves. However, I saw this... and think it's just a bit ridiculous.

I recognize legitimate asexual, a romantic, polyamorous, etc etc. But everything has the capacity to go too far.

People identifying as rabbit self, galaxy romantic darth-vader-kin or sparkle nebulous sexual entity. It's honestly ridiculous to me and I think they need help, but I don't knock the fact that's currently how they perceive reality. How ever screwed up their reality is... as long as they can function. Personally I think some people have too much time on their hands and these ridiculous identities de legitimize actual people.

I don't understand the whole "it's gone too far" mentality. Like how does what someone feels comfortable identifying themselves as affect you in any way??

It can't really go too far if it's not negatively impacting me. If people wanna identify with something other than he or she that's none of my business. Its hard adjusting though
