What are the point of 16 week and 18 week appointments? Why can't they just tell me over the phone? I haven't had my 18th yet so wondering if it's the same as 16th

You should not be seen every 2 weeks at that point in your pregnancy. That would be at 28 wks hun.

The doctor could want to listen for your baby's heartbeat on the doppler, measure the height of your uterus, send you for blood tests to make sure you're not deficient in anything. Every antenatal appointment is important. Don't miss it.
