Canadian attitude

Just curious what you all think of the Canadian attitude toward immigrants, Muslim ones in particular. There has been a 230% increase in illegal border crossings into Canada by Muslim assylum seekers because they feel unsafe in the USA and Canada offers them a safe future. People are taking their whole families and walking for hours in the cold, sometimes with children in strollers, through the woods in order to get into Canada. We always hear of people fleeing overseas, but this is literally happening in our own backyards.
