So my boyfriend and I love each other but we have been living a place that neither of us like. He has no friends or family and what little I have are moving. Both of us have friends and a better chance to do to the things we love in the same place. But he says he can't commit to moving there together because he can't separate his unhappiness with himself/ life here and me. He says he wants to work it out and to be positive but now I don't know what to think since he's admitted to talking to his friends there about moving w/o me for a while. My gut says that he hasn't completely made up his mind but is leaning towards separating. Has anyone ever made it through something like this? Am I just fooling myself by being hopeful?
