Big baby??

My baby is measuring 2 weeks ahead! Last week for my 33 week ultrasound my OB told me my baby boy measures 2 weeks ahead than he's supposed to. Does this mean i'll have a c-section? Possibly deliever a big baby? Will he come before the 40 weeks? 😰

I was measuring 2 weeks ahead my whole pregnancy. My waters broke at 36 weeks and I delivered a 7 pound baby naturally. Doesn't mean you will deliver early though I've had friends who have measured ahead and have gone over there due date. The doctors shouldn't recommend a c-section unless they feel your babies size could cause issues during birth. Or they see other issues with delivering naturally.

I've been ahead by 2 wks since wk 32, dr hasn't mentioned a c section unless medically needed and hasn't changed my due date.

It's not uncommon for a baby to measure ahead a few weeks but it doesn't mean you'll have a big baby or need a c section. What they tell about weight is just an estimate they can either be right or wrong. My son measured ahead 2 weeks but was then told he was only 6-6.5lbs. I was induced at 41 weeks in labor for 24+ hours and my son was 8lbs 6oz

With my oldest i was told he would be 8 pound but at birth he was only 5 pounds.
