REMOVING KELOIDS?
I went to my dermatology appointment for keloids that are on my back. I've had them for over 4 years now and have always been to ashamed to go see someone and now I finally have. Well she basically told me that there's nothing I can do for them. She said they come from previous scar tissue like acne. But I've never once had acne on my back in my life. She said that it just happens sometimes and we don't know why. She said my options were to try steroid injections, surgery to remove them (but could have a high chance of them just growing back), or laser surgery. I decided to try the steroid injections and she did them on two of them. And let me say... they hurt like a bitch. They burned so bad and she was putting so much pressure on it. I was on the verge of crying. She wants to see me back in a month to see if it did anything. But I was wondering if you ladies have had them before and if they went away with anything?
