Ftms: tip regarding contractions

That whole thing about breathing? Do it. Not talking anything fancy. I literally mean breathing in and out instead of clenching and holding your breath (if you're like me) during contractions.

My hubby ( the only person I wanted to even slightly be my coach in any way) noticed that when I literally inhaled and exhaled during contractions, the intensity dropped and so did how long they lasted. So he started telling me to do the classic "breathe in, breathe out" and I listened and holy shit the difference.

Just wanted to share what sounds like "duh" advice but in the moment.... It definitely might not be what you're even thinking of doing!! What made me listen was my husband explaining the correlation rather than just hearing the standard line lol
