people are so ignorant
So I am 15weeks3days pregnant with baby #6. I am so accustomed to doing EVERYTHING with all 5 kids in tow that it is no big deal to me. I mean some mothers find it a hassle to do their grocery shopping with just one child, but most of the time I do it with all 5 of mine, by myself, because my husband works so much. Anyway, I was in the checkout isle with my kids at the grocery store and I over heard these 2 ladies that thought they were whispering. One of them said to the other, I can't believe she is having another one, hasn't she figured out how that happens, I wonder if she's ever heard of birth control. Mind you, my husband and I are very financially stable and own our own company and our kids have VERY GOOD LIVES. So I kept to myself and didn't say anything, but then one of them tried to be nice to me and ask me how far along I am and when I am due. That's when I thought these 2 old hags needed to be taught a lesson in judging people. With a straight face of stone, I turned to them and told them that I am NOT pregnant, but instead have a very large and rapidly growing tumor. I waited for their reactions and it was priceless. They apologized up and down and had horrible looks of shame and putty on their faces. That's when I busted out laughing and told them that the joke is on them, and that I'm happily 15 weeks pregnant with my 6th child and that they need to stop being such judgemental old bags and let others live their lives in the fashion they see fit. I felt vindicated and my teenage daughters laughed so hard about me putting those ladies in their place.
