Baby Size???

I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes around 26 weeks and I have been diet controlled the whole time. I had an ultrasound yesterday (at 37 weeks). I was told that he was around 6lbs 6oz (but that he had a chubby belly haha) and is in the 42nd percentile.

What size estimates were you told, and at what week? Curious to hear from other gestational diabetic mammas!

I was told my baby would be huge because of my GD and they said he was like 7 or 8 pounds at my 37 week appointment but once they took him out by emergency c section at 39 weeks he was only 6pounds 5 ounces. He went down to 5 pounds 5 ounces before we left the hospital. We didn't have anything to fit him!

I had my baby at 36 weeks and she weighed 8pounds 8oz. So big for 4 weeks early but not big looking. She was born an hour after my water broke by emergency c section because she was breech and already 8cm with a foot coming out!

I didn't put a kg on the whole pregnancy but I had gestational diabetics.

I was diagnosed with it around 15 weeks my daughter was born at 36&6 weighing 9 lb 9oz

My ultrasound at 35 weeks 6 days estimated the baby to be at about 6 lb 3 oz, which is the 65th percentile. The doctors were happy with that!

I had my last ultrasound at 37 weeks( currently 38 weeks 4 days) and baby girl was measuring 5lbs 15oz but apparently has very long legs..which makes sense as it feels like an octopus is trying to break out my stomach 😩 they think she will be 7lbs at delivery. I'm feeling so thankful that my GD has been diet controlled and not given me a huge baby.
