Last night I was having intercourse with my husband, and I started to have cramping :(

Is this normal, or am I not suppose to be laying on him on top?

What are safe sex positions?

Sex can/and normally does cause some kind of cramping but its completely safe.

Maybe just braxton hicks? 
My doctor told me sex can also cause braxton hicks which sometimes feel like cramps I've has sex on top while laying on him and haven't had any pain .
