very sad today (slight tmi)

On Sunday (the 26th of February) I had a faint positive pregnancy test. I was 7 dpo. 7 days until my next period. Felt little changes such as very full and heavy breasts, mood swings, mild cramping. Well, today I think I started my period.. I had already made an appointment with my obgyn to confirm the pregnancy. My appointment is Monday the 13of march and I'm terrified it will be a waste of time and money. Was I ever pregnant? How could my body feel pregnant AND give a positive test several days in a row but now I'm bleeding? When I say bleeding I mean, when it started it was brown (old period blood) then it turned light pink. By the time I got home (2 hours later) it had stopped completely. Then over night I didn't bleed at all and when I went to the bathroom I peed blood that was heavy and dark red (exactly like my period). I haven't soaked a pad yet but I'm still bleeding the dark red blood.
