Any mom's that had babies before 36 weeks??

Question

I'm about to be 32 weeks and tomorrow I have to go in to the Dr for contractions (again) I think this time I'm just going to stay in the hospital. Hopefully I can make it to 36 to 37 weeks But I honestly don't think so. Any mom's had their babies this early? Please tell me your outcome how did baby come out how long did your little one stay in nicu. I need to calm down. Reading these will keep me calm.

Had my son at 34+5 and he was in the NICU for 9 days. No major complications. He had jaundice- was put under phototherapy for 48hrs and he had to learn to drink his full bottle without falling asleep to gain efficient weight. Overall though, he did not need assistance with breathing, and fluid IV was taken out when my breastmilk came in- his suckle was great! Preemies may be small, but they'll always surprise you! I loved how tiny and mighty my little guy was😊
^ This was in the hospitals' courtesy room. You stay overnight with your baby in the NICU section and they monitor his weight gain/progress away from all the machines.. usually the day before you go home. This was my first night with nathan at 8 days old💕

If they think baby is coming early can they not give you steroid shots to help develop lungs? That would help a lot. Hope you can hold out a little longer! Good luck 😊

Daughter born at 35 weeks. 15 days in the nicu for apnea and bradicardia. She's perfect now. Good luck

My husband was born at 32 weeks, was in nicu for about a month to help his lungs grow. He played football in high school and even earned a college scholarship for it (didn't end up going) totally healthy, can't smoke, though, because it bothers his lungs. I don't feel like that's a bad thing though haha

I had my oldest son at 33 1/2 weeks. He spent one week in the nicu due to jaundice. No other problems!

I had my son @ 34wk,  he spent 17 days in the special care nursery  (didn't need to go to nicu). He is 14months now and thriving no health problems either☺ GL

My son came at 35 wks and went home with me 2 days later! No problems at all!

I had mine at 32 weeks stayed in the nicu for 6 more weeks after that and he's great!!
