postpartum itching

I'm 2 weeks post partum and my vagina itches LIKE CRAZY. I didn't have stitches so that's not it. It's the outside of it. Like the lips. Omg I've tried putting creme on it and nothing helps. I also had been getting lots of  ingrown hairs. (Hadn't shaved in a month.) how can I relieve this and should I go to the doctor about it 😳
