Advice ?

I got a copper IUD roughly a month  ago. I have been sexually active and not using any other form of birth control.  I was breastfeeding until about 1 week ago.
My doctor didn't give me to much unfo on the Copper IUD. When roughly can I export my period ? And what are the chances of pregnancy? Etc.... please and thank you.

I was told that its over 99% effective so chances of pregnancy are very low. Since its hormone free, it shouldnt have any real impact on your period. It should go back to what it was before you got pregnant but who knows when you'll get it. Like pregnancy, post partum experience is unique to each woman. Some women dont get a period for months after having a baby whether they are breastfeeding or not. With my first, i was exclusively breastfeeding and still got my period after 8w pp. Im now 6w pp with my second so who knows how it will go this time.

I put a copper iud 2 months pp. never got my period still. The dr said I might not get it for as long as I breastfeed. From my understanding the iud is very effective. Like  only one perfect chance of getting pregnant.
