can a baby forget his mom? 😞

I'm a FTM.. My son is 4 months old. Earlier I started pumping milk for few reasons and now he's refusing to breastfeed. So we are exclusively pumping and bottle feeding. I'm with my mom for a short while, so she's also taking care of my son. I'll be going home after 3 more months. 
For now I feel that my son is more attached to my mom than me. I feel that he likes my mom more than me 😞 I feel so worried that will my son forget me? Will he long for my mom when we get back home? And some times I feel more possessive and start fighting with my mom 😞
Help me ladies !!

I was with my mom for a few weeks n my daughter was bottle feeding at the same time so I definitely understand. Once we got back home my daughter took on to me like my mother never existed. Just do skin to skin for the first couple of days n u should be right on track

I think you should consider speaking to your doctor about postpartum depression. What you are feeling is completely understandable, but should be discussed with your doctor. You should not be experiencing these possessive/sad emotions about your bond with your child and may need some help, and that's okay. ❤ Your child knows you intimately. You carried your child for nine months; they know your touch and your voice and your scent. You will always be their mother. No one will replace you. Babies will love and adore many people, but no one will replace a mother's love. Your son loves you.

I don't understand why women get upset if their children love their grandmother who is their own mother. I feel so happy and proud when my daughter cries for my mum and wants to leave my arms to go to her grandmother who is my mother. Because I know my daughter will always be attached to me she doesn't have to learn to love me. But she does have to learn to love everyone else
