tmi...implantation or period?

So my dh and I have been ttc for a while now.. on the ttw I was having mild cramps.. stitch in my left side, pain by my right hip(lasted 2 mins).. checked my cervix and had a spot of blood..(nothing else all day) cervix was high and soft, following day checked again and blood when checked cervix.. I had spotting for 4-5 days. Never enough for a pad.. when I put a tampon in it was brown blood?? Negative tests...
