Old Classmate Asking For Money

A girl I went to middle school with just asked me to loan her money for her dad's funeral. They haven't been in each other's lives since we were about 6 years old. I live in a completely different area from her now. But the thing is... her dad lives in my townhouse complex and is very much alive. Like... I saw him earlier today. I know that he still doesn't have anything to do with her because she never wants to speak to him or see him. She doesn't know I live near him because I've just never told her because like... they're not involved in each other's lives and she never would've cared. So, what do I do? Her dad is a really nice man and a great and HELPFUL neighbor and I can't believe she tried to tell me he DIED to get money from me? Do I tell him? Do I tell her that I know she's lying? Do I expose her for it so that she doesn't end up stealing money from people? Idk what to do. Help me please. 😂🙅🏼
