8 month old pooping during the night?

So for the past 3 or so months my LO hasn't been pooping through the night and poops when he wakes up for the day. Well in the past week he got sick and has had diahreah. So obviously I understand that part. But now it has gone away and he is back to pooping his normal poops? Lol anyways I was wonder why he's still doing it? Maybe a diet change? He is baby led weaning but also I started giving him baby food with rice cereal because that's the only way he will take the baby food. And he is also BF. Aby advice?
