Miscarriage & symptoms questions.

Okay so I had a miscarriage in October, and after one period I became pregnant again. I am now 11w3d. My dating scan was done at 6 weeks and my baby had a heartbeat. I've had more than enough pregnancy symptoms and still do. My question is, if the baby were to have passed weeks before so let's say at 8 weeks, and I'm thinking I'm 11 weeks, would my pregnancy symptoms go away?

I'm asking because no one in my family knows and at my 13th week scan I would like my MIL there & that's how we will be announcing to her but I don't want to get her hopes up & then be told, "your baby didn't make it" or "you miscarried at _ weeks" any help would be great. Thanks in advance
