That awkward spot on the mattress

So I just started being sexually active again since high school. I'm 20. I'm not super skilled in the sex ways but recently I've been bleeding a little after every time my boyfriend and I have intercourse. Tonight there was a blood stain on the sheets and bled more than usual. Is this normal?
