gastric bypass? 🤷🏽‍♀️

Made a similar post to this but didn't get many comments probably because I wrote it at like 3 in the morning 😂

I'm thinking about gastric bypass surgery. I've even talked to nutritionist and everything. Does anyone have experience with this surgery. Maybe has had it or have had someone close to you that's had it and can give me thought or overall reviews about the process, surgery and aftermath of it. Greatly appreciated 🤗

I had my bypass in dec 28 2016, it was definitely hard. People make me so made when they say it's the easy way out, they have no freaking ideal. It's more mental than anything well it was at least to me. But anywho, it was by far the best decision I have ever made for myself. It's like having a second chance at life.. I would totally suggest it.

I had it 6 months ago and he lost 75 lbs... if you have the self control I say go for it.

So I've been looking into it as well. I've known a few people that have done and my friend actually just had it done Wednesday this week. We're excited to see the changes that come

My aunt has had it, I'm not too sure of recovery etc but I know for a while she had to only have liquid and small meals. You have to be very careful that you don't stretch the stomach out again. She lost a lot of weight, she looked amazing, but she was a very big lady to start with. Unless you are very overweight id say just lose weight the traditional way because it is quite hard to go through.
