Prom Dress ??

Hello Everyone,

I'm a junior and I'm looking for dresses for prom and all I'm seeing is long dresses. I thought it was kinda traditional for juniors to wear short dresses but now I'm confused .So, I'm curious what did/would you wear to prom a short dress or a long dress?

It was my understanding that girls wore whatever length they felt like wearing...I've never heard of the tradition you mentioned, but maybe it's just a local thing.

I think short dresses can be just as 'dressy' as longer gowns--I just happened to gravitate more towards everything being covered, and my then-boyfriend (now husband!) MUCH prefers long dresses in general.

I say if the dress inspires you, wear it. :3

Short dresses are usually worn for homecoming, long gowns are for prom though thats what ive heard, you can wear what you want to prom because its your body and your choice, have fun!

Every school is different in their "traditions" so just ask upperclassmen if you are really worried about it.

Wear whatever you wanna wear! But most girls go long! You only get to do long a few times in your life so why not take full advantage of it while you can
