Wait for marriage?

So I've always been told wait for marriage by my super religious family (even if none of them waited) but alot of my older freinds have told me not to, (one reason is because I think I'm bi and there's not really away to find out besides having sex with a chick) but I wanted to hear what you ladies think and what you've done. I grew up in a very religious household as well. They all asked me to wait. My fiancé and I tried to wait but we got caught up in the heat of the moment.

I waited until I found someone very special who I felt completely comfortable with. I ended up marrying him ♡

I was told to wait for marriage to lose mine too. But I didn't and my siblings didn't either. Instead, we all chose to wait until we were in a serious relationship to lose it. That's what I did and I don't regret it.
