baby at 24 or 30?

Im currently 21 years old and ive been wanting a child since i turned 21 about 6 months ago. Having a baby especially a baby girl has been my dream for a long time but im not sure of ill make the right choice by having a baby by 24. I dont want to be to old for a baby because i dont want complications and i dont want to be to old for my kids. However, many people tell me that its best at 30 because it's financially better.

Do what you want and feel is right, as long as you and your partner are ready and can financially support yourself and a family there's nothing wrong with it.

My only concern would be you don't want to miss out on lots of things in life that are a lot more fun and exciting when your young and free. I don't just men partying, I mean exploring the world, changing jobs and careers to figure out what you want, study and broaden your mind and all whilst you have no real commitments.

I'm now 32 and pregnant with my first we waited even though We always knew We wanted a baby I'm so glad I got to experience everything I did before this pregnancy and got to set ourselves up better then what we were in our early 20s.

Age doesn't defy who you are. You can be 21, stable and be ready for a child. I am 22, married, stay at home stepmom, and my husband has a great job and we are financially well off. Nobody knows what will happen in life. You could be 30 and be homeless, who knows. Do it whenever you feel ready, you are stable, be able to pay your bills and have a guy who you love and who loves you.

Do what you feel is right. Personally, I don't think I would have been a good parent at 24 or 26. But that's not a reflection of anyone else, just me. If you feel ready and are in a stable relationship and can support your child, go forward.

I had my first at 24. She was unplanned, but helped me become responsible. I had my second at 31. I am in a better place financially then I was, but that hasn't affected the quality of care I give them.

I was 19 with my first baby and I don't regret anything!! I'm going to be 32 when my seventh baby is born in August. I have had money and I have struggled to get money. But I have never regretted having my kids. If you want a baby and your man wants a baby, then have a baby!!!

21 is young for me but I liked to party.. only you and your love know. Me and hubby have wanted a baby since we started dating at 16 now I'm 32 and sooo happy we waited. But just know that you may never feel financially stable enough or ready enough, we own a home, good cars, good jobs all of that and I still didn't feel ready but now it's all in place and don't want life any other way.

For me the question is more often: do you want kids and not when. Certain things need to be in place, like being sure you are financially able to care for a child and this doesn't mean being super well off, just stable. If that is sorted then I would say go for it. Noone knows how long it will take to get pregnant and if you wait too long then you may end up regretting it. 21 is young but if you have finished your education, have a home, steady income and the right partner, it really is up to you and noone else. But a baby will definitely change everything. So If there are things you really want to do and experience (like travel) consider doing that first.

I'm 24 pregnant with my first. My husband and I didn't plan this pregnancy at all and at first when we found out we were in a rough spot since he just got out of the army and we had just moved back to our home state within weeks of finding out. For the first few months we had to stay with my mom until my husband had enough money coming in from his new job for a place of our own. We have been very blessed with the way things turned around for us financially and just over all. So honestly if you're going to actually plan a pregnancy then do it when it truly feels right for you. I didn't want to have a baby until I was 25 if I was in a good place in life. Also 30 is not that old to be having a baby.
