Has anyone thought about becoming an egg donor ?

I have done it multiple times. It was something I always knew I wanted to do. It's a process to go through the approval and the actual process of the donation is hard on you mentally and physically. You have two weeks of shots, the first week it's one a day and the last week is two a day. I have no problem with needles (7 tattoos) but having to stab your sore arms over and over gets to you. You also become bloated and develop very sensitive/sore ovaries. The retrieval process is quick and they put me under. The recovery is difficult at times. It takes time for your ovaries to go back down and to this day if I jerk, sneeze, or get out of bed the wrong way I get a stabbing pain near my ovary. Could be because I did it multiple times but I don't regret doing it. Hope this helps!! ❤

Yes, I've looked into it. I'm 19 so I'd have to wait until I'm 21.

I've looked into it, mainly because it's a nice extra cash and so I could help people. But reading more into it, I decided not to do it. I heard it's painful and uncomfortable. Also you will have to give yourself daily shots and I just can't do that.

Oh wow I read a couple things about it.....but didn't read that it'll hurt 🙁 that kind of change my thought of continuing the process
