Help?

I have been on the pill one time before and had spotting so stopped and had my period. Today me and my husband had sex with a condom and he didn't cum and said it was because of the condom. He told me to take the pill again because he doesn't want to use a condom. Is this safe to do so?  This is my second time taking the pill. I take it everyday at the same time. Friendly advice would be nice. Thank you x
