At what age

Do you take a newborn to mass? Both my kids go to catholic school and we attend mass every Sunday. I'm currently pregnant with third baby. I wasn't raised Catholic as my mother is catholic and my dad is Protestant. I was raised Protestant and when I had my other children I wasn't active in church. I'm not active in mass and my kids school and working on being catholic. I know Catholics only miss mass if they r truly sick or dying. So I don't want to skip mass for long but also don't know what appropriate age is for a newborn to start attending. What do you ladies think?
