Postsex pain

So my boyfriend and I were having sex last night, and after wards my lower abdomen starting hurting incredibly bad. Like a squeezing and burning feeling. This is the second time it's happened and lasts for about 10 minutes but it's only after sex. I have an appointment with my doctor but I just can't stop thinking about what could possibly be wrong!?
