The color goes back to normal but the size of the areola doesn't shrink. If it expands it stays that way

I noticed my nipples got a little darker during pregnancy but after I had baby they went back to normal. I also breastfed exclusively for a yr and everything went back to normal afterwards.

Mine always have gone back to normal. They get huge during pregnancy and are still moderately large during nursing but when I'm down they go back to normal size.
