period on the mini pill??

Question

Hey girls! Do any of you taking progestin only birth control have irregular periods?? I've been on it about 7 months and I started out bleeding allll the time but now my periods have been getting further and further apart and lighter and lighter. And I keep freaking out that I'm pregnant. Advice??(

My periods have been pretty regular since starting the mini pill (except for one time when I was stressed and it was a week and a half late) but other than that, nothing else has happened!  My periods are never consistent either. This past weekend was my first time experiencing a pretty light period, and even when I first started, my flow was heavy. It's most likely normal!  If you've been stressing a lot, that could be the case for your far periods. As long as you have been taking the pill at the exact same time everyday, pregnancy isn't a concern.
