who should pay for the date?

I feel like if your single and ready to mingle and you go out on the date guys should pay 💁🏽 if you're on a date with your SO it doesn't matter who pays I've paid for dinner with mines a bunch of times and he also done the same  But that's just my opinion

I think whoever asks to go out in the beginning pays. My boyfriend pays most of the time now. I will every once an a while thpugh

I think whoever asks the other out should pay. After that, alternate. Though, I've paid for some first dates where the man asked me out before. That's just because I was ordering more food. 😂 Now? I'm married and we share our incomes so it doesn't matter.

First dates, I prefer going Dutch. I don't know what kind of chemistry I'm going to have with the fella or if I'll see him again, so I think that's the most fair.

And if we hit it off and start seeing more of one another, I think we should alternate, as others have suggested, based on who asked. If I ask him to the movies, I'll want to pay for his ticket. If we asks if we want to do dinner after the movie, he can get dinner. I'm always prepared to at least pay my way, though, and don't get offended by separate checks. I'm not looking for someone to take care of me.
