back ache advice

Ok, this is not anything women related. But I would like to ask you what do you use to help with back ache. I've tried co-codamol with and without added caffeine, heat patches, diclophenac, I can't use ibuprofen cos of asthma and nothing is helping me. I suffer from hypermobile joints and my back has been locked for nearly a week. If you have any ideas on how to even reduce this pain so it's more bareable I will be very grateful. Thanks
