Natural/Spontaneous Labor Birth Stories?

Hey ladies,

Anyone have any stories of how they went into labor spontaneously? I mean without the help of doctors at all? I'm doing a natural birth which takes a lot longer to happen spontaneously and I was just curious as to how your happened. :) I'm now 3 days past due with my first, so I'm trying to get a better idea of how things happen naturally.

My daughter was due on February 25th, with an induction date of March 2nd if she didn't come on her own. My doctor doesn't like babies to go over a week late. At one in the morning on March 2nd, the day I was supposed to be induced, I woke up to contractions that were 5 mins apart. Baby girl wanted to come out on her own. I had zero signs of labor the previous day. I was already 3-4 cm dilated at my 40 week checkup, but I never had regular contractions. I thought I was just having BH, because they didn't hurt at all. I arrived at the hospital around 4 am on March 2nd and was admitted. I was 5 cm dilated when I arrived. No induction meds were needed. I labored naturally until around 12pm. Pushed for around 30 mins and baby girl was born. :) I was so happy she decided to come on her own and I didn't need to be induced.

I started laboring on a Monday and labored very slowly until that Thursday and then had my babe on friday!

Nothing through me into labor. I just woke up to pee around 3am on Monday morning and when I laid back in bed I realized i was having light contractions. I was 37 weeks and 3 days when it started!

My original due date was March 21st but on February 27 I started having mild contractions and thought they were Braxton Hicks at 8 am. Around 10am they weren't tolerable anymore and I woke my husband to take me to the hospital. By the time I got there at 1130 my contractions were 45 seconds apart and a minute long. By the time they admitted me and got everything ready I was pushing at 350 pm
