How often are you bathing baby?

My LO is 8 weeks old, and has a witching hour between 8-12p. I've been told not to bathe baby every day, so I don't dry out her skin. She loves baths though, and some days it is the only thing that will calm her down. What do y'all think? I've tried to keep it at every other day, or when her dad is worried about full diapers and crevices. 😂😂😂

I've been told it's more "you don't have to bathe them every day". For our little man he loves to float in the water and it helps to relax him before bed, so we do it every night.

We bathe our lil girl every day and her skin is still super soft. It's a nice routine for her. She also has a ton of hair and i think it stinks if we don't wash it haha We just use a coconut oil soap by Seventh Generation

We wash him with soap once a week, but we do waterbaths a couple times in between because he loves water.

You can just bathe her in water- the soap is what dries out their skin.  The doctor told me to give our little one bathes with no soap or a bar of Dove for a week after she broke out in a rash from laundry detergent.  My MIL was trying to help and "prewashed" clothing gifts with her detergent and told me it was baby safe- not so much.  Anyways- the water baths did not dry her skin and she slept great afterwards.

I bathe my 12 weeks old every night. After trying lots of things, bathing at night is what finally got him to go to sleep. I just lotion him up really good afterward. No sign of dry skin yet!
