scared!

Well my period was due yesterday (Monday) but it never came. On Friday, I had protected sex with my boyfriend twice. On Saturday, I had a little bright red blood once and then it stopped. Today, I had a little blood again. I've also had major cramping for about a week now. I normally don't spot before my period, which is why I'm freaking out. I'm scared I'm pregnant but at the same time I always have protected sex with no breaks in the condoms. Is spotting normal before a period, even if I never spotted before? I've also been stressed lately because it's midterms right now. Help please!
